Spot Locations in Rick and Morty: Wormageddon

Spot Locations in Rick and Morty: Wormageddon

At Spot Locations, we specialize in finding unique settings that transform projects into unforgettable experiences. A standout example of our work is the collaboration, together with XD Agency, on the global promotion of Rick and Morty: Wormageddon by Adult Swim and Warner Brothers.

A location out of this world

For this production, we selected a Mediterranean gem: Tossa de Mar. Its cobbled streets, medieval castle, and cliffs overlooking the sea provided the perfect contrast between the historic and the surreal—ideal for a series that blends science fiction and dark comedy.

Why Tossa de Mar?
Its visual richness, deep history, and ability to transform into a fantasy setting make this location a natural film set.

A one-of-a-kind installation in Tossa de Mar

As part of this global campaign, 14 immersive scenes were created in different locations around the world. In Tossa de Mar, Girona, a sculpture representing the character "Mr. Always Wants to be Hunted" was installed.

This innovative strategy fused the digital world with the physical one, creating a deeper connection with the series' narrative and taking the Rick and Morty experience to a new level of immersion.

Wormageddon comes to life

Here you can see the final result of our collaboration with Adult Swim: an epic scene from the global Wormageddon campaign, installed on the historic walls of Tossa de Mar.

This video is part of the extended Rick and Morty universe, where the characters battle an alien invasion of giant worms.
